1. The Service

Design My Biodata (“Service”) is operated by Pavitra Rishta, a partnership firm in Kolkata, West Bengal, India (“we”, “us”, “our”). The Service lets you create matrimonial bio data documents online, free of charge, and download them as PDFs.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using it, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You must notify us immediately at hello@designmybiodata.com if you suspect unauthorised access
• Guest data (used without signing in) is automatically deleted after 7 days

4. Your content

• Ownership: You retain full ownership of all personal information and photos you submit to the Service
• Licence to us: You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you
• Accuracy: You confirm that the information you enter is accurate and relates to a real person — yourself, or someone on whose behalf you have explicit authority to act
• Prohibited content: You must not upload content that is false, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or that infringes any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights

5. No verification

We do not verify, background-check, or screen any information entered by users. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or truthfulness of any bio data created using this Service. Users are solely responsible for the content of their bio data.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

• Create profiles for other people without their explicit knowledge and consent
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated personal information
• Scrape, copy, reproduce, or republish our platform, templates, or designs
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any security measure of the Service
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under Indian law
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it

7. Intellectual property

• Your data: You retain full ownership of all personal information and photos you provide
• Our platform: All templates, designs, code, copy, brand names, and logos are the exclusive property of Pavitra Rishta and may not be copied, modified, or reproduced without written permission
• Generated PDFs: The PDF bio data documents you download are yours to use and share freely

8. Service availability

We provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the Service itself with reasonable prior notice to registered users.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Pavitra Rishta and its partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or reputational harm.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pavitra Rishta, its partners, and employees from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 7 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
