What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work properly, remember your preferences, and provide anonymised analytics data to site owners.
We use cookies sparingly. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party tracking technology beyond what is listed below.
Cookies we use
Essential cookies
These are required for the Service to function. You cannot opt out of these without disabling sign-in entirely.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| sb-access-token | Keeps you signed in (Supabase session) | 1 hour (auto-refreshed) |
| sb-refresh-token | Silently renews your session without re-login | 60 days |
| sb-* | Supabase auth state | Session |
Analytics cookies (PostHog)
We use PostHog to understand how users interact with the product — which features are used, where people drop off, and how to improve the experience. PostHog is configured in privacy-friendly mode: IP addresses are anonymised and we do not enable session recordings.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| ph_* | Anonymous page views, feature usage, device type | 1 year |
| posthog_* | PostHog session identifier (anonymised) | Session |
What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting cookies (Google Ads, Meta Pixel, etc.)
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site tracking of any kind
- Fingerprinting technologies
Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Delete individual or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific sites or all sites
Note: disabling essential cookies (the sb-* Supabase cookies) will prevent you from signing in and may cause the builder to lose your draft data.
Opting out of PostHog analytics
Enable Do Not Track (DNT) in your browser — PostHog respects this signal and will not track your session. You can also clear the ph_* cookies from your browser at any time; analytics tracking will restart from a fresh anonymous ID on your next visit.
Indian law
While India does not yet have a standalone cookie law, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 requires that we be transparent about data collection. This policy fulfils that obligation for cookie-based data collection.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add or remove technologies. The “Effective date” at the top will reflect the latest version.
